Kaltura is a web-based video management platform that allows for the upload, editing, managing and sharing of videos and other media. Kaltura can be accessed from bCourses(link is external) (Canvas), as well as MediaSpace. (Note, however, that our primary supported Kaltura environment is bCourses and we prioritize instructional uses.)
Recordings from a variety of tools, including Course Capture(link is external), Zoom(link is external), and Kaltura Capture(link is external) (desktop application) can be saved directly to Kaltura.
Funded by the Berkeley Student Technology Fund
The Kaltura service launch was made possible through the generous support of the UC Berkeley Student Technology Fund.
