How to look for a room with Course Capture capabilities and features 

  • For all Course Capture rooms search for 06: AV-Course Capture
  • For Course Capture rooms with cameras, but without operators, search for 06: AV-Course Capture and 14: AV-Camera without Operator
  • For Course Capture rooms with cameras and operators, search for 06: AV-Course Capture and 07: AV-Camera with Operator

Who to add as instructors 

  • Instructors are defined as users in the TNIC, TIC, or the NTIC role
  • Anyone that has the possibility of teaching (and being recorded) should be placed as an instructor.
    • At least 1 instructor needs to be added for the section to sign up for Course Capture
  • ALL instructors need to sign up before recordings are scheduled
  • Instructors will be able to edit and publish course recordings. 
  • If it is a secondary section, such as discussions, add the GSI as the instructor
  • If it is a deCal, add the student instructor as official instructor

Who to add as Admin Proxy

  • Instructors have the option to give Admin Proxy access to edit and publish course recordings
  • GSIs and course coordinators that need editing/publishing access should be added as Admin Proxys so they are required to signed up for Course Capture
