Bulk Scanning Station and Equipment Check Out

When Gradescope is used to grade paper exams, GSIs are typically tasked with scanning many exams into the system. This is most successfully completed with proper scanning resources. Some departments may have dedicated scanning stations, or instructors can use the bulk scanning station located in the Academic Innovation Studio (AIS). The station is a computer with a connected scanner capable of processing 60 double-sided pages per minute. Users can upload scanned assignments directly to Gradescope from the scanning station, save them via a file storage tool (Google Drive/Box), or store them on their own USB drive. The AIS also has a portable scanner available for check out.
