DSP in the CBTF

Currently the CBTF can accomodate the following DSP accommodations in our locations. 

Any accommodations that the CBTF can not support must be handled by course staff.

How it is accommodated

Extra Time

Built into PrairieTest. Once the accommodation is input into PrairieTest by CBTF Staff, the student will have the extra time accommodation factored into their exam reservation.

Reduced Distraction

Specific seats in the CBTF are set to be reduced distraction. A barrier around the desk will be provided along with noise cancelling headphones.

Eating, drinking, or taking medication during exam

Student will be allowed to eat, drink, or take medication as needed

Leaving and reentering during exam

Student will be checked out from PrairieTest when they need to leave the exam room to prevent access to the exam while outside. Student can come back in afterwards to get checked back in and start their exam again. The exam timer does not stop in this case.

Rest breaks 

Students can take a rest break at any time during their exam, but the timer will not stop.
