Making, Changing & Deleting Exam Reservations

All CBTF exams require a reservation made in advance through PrairieTest. This page walks you through how to make, change, and delete your reservation. Log in at us.prairietest.com using your CalNet credentials to get started.

Important: You can self-manage your reservation up to 10 minutes before your scheduled exam. After that point, you will need to contact CBTF staff or your course staff to make any changes.

Making a Reservation

Reservations open when your course staff announces they are available for a given exam. Your instructor will let you know when to log in and book your slot.

  1. Log in to PrairieTest with your CalNet credentials
  2. Under Exams available for reservations, click the green Make a reservation button next to your exam
  3. Browse the available timeslots within your exam window and click Reserve this session on the slot you want

Popular times fill up quickly — reserve as soon as slots open to get your preferred timeslot.

If You Miss Your Reservation

If you do not show up for your reserved slot, your reservation will remain on your account and you will not be able to book a new one until it is deleted. You have three options to get it removed:

  • Email cbt-help@berkeley.edu
  • Visit a CBTF location in person and ask a proctor to delete it
  • Ask your course staff to delete it on your behalf

Once your missed reservation is deleted, you can rebook into any remaining open slot in the testing window. There is no guarantee that slots will still be available, so contact us as soon as possible. If no slots remain, your course staff will need to decide whether to grant you an override or treat it as a missed exam.
