Live polling is a great way to make lectures more interactive. UC Berkeley sponsors two online polling tools, Poll EveryWhere and iClicker Cloud. In this session, we're going to take a look at the basics of Poll Everywhere. You will learn how to use Poll Everywhere in class to encourage student participation, to provide them live feedback, and to gauge their understanding in real time. You can choose from a variety of activities, such as multiple choice polls, Q&A, and open-ended responses, with students participating from mobile devices or laptops.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
-
Create and run your first activities
-
Navigate the web application
-
Sync Poll Everywhere with bCourses
