Course Capture Options Explained (Spring 25)

These features are under development and will be available prior to Spring 25. Emails will be sent to Spring 25 instructors mid-December with more details.

Instructors can control their Course Capture settings by logging in from the Course Capture Home Page. It can take up to 12 hours for changes to take effect.

Collaborators

Collaborators are given co-editing and co-publishing privileges to Course Capture recordings. Users with the Admin Proxy (APRX) role in SIS Campus Solution are automatically given collaborator status, but instructors are able to remove them within their Course Capture setting. APRX roles are typically given to GSIs or staff coordinators, but your department may follow different practices.

Recording Type

Most rooms are limited to the "Camera without Operator" setting. Audio-only recording is not available. For those looking for a Projector+Audio only option,  cameras can be blocked using the touch panel in the room
