Video Conferencing Options in Classrooms for Flexible Instructional Modes

Academic Support Staff, Faculty, Graduate Student Instructors, Instructors

This workshop is intended for instructors that are teaching in one of UC Berkeley's General Assignment Video Conferencing Classrooms for the first time or instructors that need a quick refresher prior to their return to instruction at UC Berkeley. The first 15-30 minutes of the session will touch upon: basic video projection and microphone usage, course Capture considerations, and video conferencing capabilities. The second half of the orientation will offer tips and tricks on how to video conference in classrooms without built-in conferencing features.

At the end of the session, instructors will be able to practice and test their setup in the classroom. Classroom Technology Specialists will be available to instructors to answer questions on individual instructional needs.
