January 13, 2023, 10:00am to 11:00am
Intended audience:
Academic Support Staff, Faculty, Graduate Student Instructors, Instructors

This virtual workshop will provide an overview of how to access and use the DLS Core Template to create an effective and engaging bCourses site for courses in any modality. It will cover site setup and navigation, adding and editing content, and quality assurance best practices using bCourses' built-in course construction and management tools. The template offers a consistent organization founded in best practices in online pedagogy that ensures students can easily access materials and engage with the course without the need for instructors to learn any additional tools. Join us to learn more about how you can leverage the template to jumpstart your bCourses site design and maximize student engagement online.

This workshop is recommended for instructors who are already familiar with how to use bCourses. If you'd like to learn more about how to use bCourses, please view a recording of the workshop bCourses Basics and Best Practices located in the Remote Instruction Guide [self-enrollment and CalNet Authentication required] or visit the bCourses service page, which includes a Getting Started guide and additional resources.
