The BAMPFA theater classrooms are well-suited for film-related courses or courses that examine photography, paintings, film, television, or images. Read through this document to learn what our BAMPFA rooms can offer your classes.
To request a BAMPFA room during the priority phase, the “BAMPFA Classroom” room characteristic needs to be attached to the section in CS. In addition, the Requested Room Capacity should match the room capacity of the preferred BAMPFA room.
IT75 (Osher Theater)
The larger of the two, Osher theater, seats 232 students with fixed seating and is available to classes Monday-Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm. The lectern is equipped with a Bluray/DVD player, a lectern microphone, a wireless microphone, and an HDMI cable with mini display and USBc adapters for instructors to connect their devices to the high definition projector. There are no whiteboards or chalkboards. There is an additional fee to hire the BAM staff to run a film projector, if an instructor plans on showing special film like 16mm film.
The smaller theater seats 33 students with fixed seating and is available to classes Monday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm. The room is equipped with a Bluray/ DVD player and an HDMI cable with mini display and USBc adapters for instructors to connect their devices to the high definition projector. There are no whiteboards or chalkboards. There is an additional fee to hire the BAM staff to run a film projector, if an instructor plans on showing special film like 16mm film.
