10:10 a.m. | Pedagogy & Technology: Designing Meaningful Learning Experiences For All

Join a conversation on the pedagogical foundation for instructional technology, and when and why to use certain tools. Information on resources and upcoming events for faculty about these tools will be shared. This session is for instructors looking for approaches, ideas, and inspiration on integrating technology into their teaching. Review helpful links on information that will be covered.

Learn how the UC Berkeley Library can help you complement the traditional course curriculum and support students as they learn to conduct scholarly research. This session is for instructors new to the UC Berkeley Library.

Even the best instructors can face challenges to their health and well-being, and ability to teach effectively. This session will introduce strategies and approaches to challenges you may encounter, and discuss campus resources available to instructors. This session is for all instructors.

3:10 p.m. | Student Conduct Process

Discover how the student conduct process works and what instructors can expect, as well as resources available to reporting parties as they navigate the process. This session is for instructors who would like to learn more about the process for submitting academic misconduct reports.

4:10 p.m. | Undergraduate Education Initiatives

Learn about Division of Undergraduate Education initiatives taking place across campus. Faculty grant recipients from the Berkeley Collegium and Discovery grant programs will present projects and insights. The American Cultures Center will also present on current efforts, including the American Cultures Engaged Scholarship Program. Future Histories Lab and Arts + Design will present on their cross-campus project A Year on Angel Island, a year of performances, exhibitions, public talks and courses exploring immigration, exclusion and belonging. This session is for all instructors.
