Intended Audience: Faculty, Instructors, Graduate Student Instructors, Academic Support Staff
Peerceptiv is a peer collaboration tool designed to enhance student engagement by facilitating peer review and team member evaluation assignments, and is now available for all UC Berkeley classes. Whether you have used Peerceptiv or not, join this workshop to learn about the new platform functionality, such as:
- Group Formation assignments
- Ability for Peerceptiv to read bCourses sections and send groups to bCourses
- Additional instructor grading functionality for ‘carousel-style’ grading
- Live Presentation enhancements that provide more flexibility for these assignments
This session will run for 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes reserved for questions.

Becca Long is a Service Lead with the Learning Environments and Tools team within Research, Teaching, and Learning. Becca provides support to the campus for various online academic technologies, including bCourses, Gradescope, Peerceptiv, and online course evaluations, and is committed to enhancing the faculty and student experience through innovative uses of technology. |

Catherine McChrystal (she/her) is the Learning Tools Team Lead and lead administrator for bCourses. In this role, she works to understand instructor needs to influence service improvement projects for supported academic technologies. She holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Learning & Instruction. Prior to joining RTL, she served as an instructional designer at UC Berkeley and as the training program lead for the YouTube Policy team. |
