Educators in Conversation: Lessons Learned from Teaching During the Pandemic

January 11, 2022, 10:00am to 11:00am
Intended audience:
Faculty, Graduate Student Instructors, Instructors

For many of us, our tried-and-true pedagogical strategies produced unexpected student learning outcomes during the pandemic. We found ourselves innovating existing strategies, trying new ones, or dusting off previously-shelved strategies to use in our virtual classrooms. In this discussion-based workshop, participants will share their lessons learned from teaching during the pandemic. What strategies did you implement in your course(s) over the past few semesters that you plan to continue using as we shift to a “post”-pandemic learning environment? Participants will also explore resources to support their teaching refinements, including the Course Template and evidence-based strategies for designing flexible courses.
