Creating Accessible Word Docs

Intended Audience: Faculty, Instructors, Graduate Student Instructors, Academic Support Staff

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to design Microsoft Word documents that are accessible to individuals using assistive technologies.

We will move beyond basic formatting to show you how to correctly implement structural headings and write concise, meaningful alt text for images. You will also discover the proper way to format data tables and apply high-contrast color choices that ensure your content remains readable for everyone. 

By the end of this training, you will have the practical skills to create documents that everyone can use.

This session will run for 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes reserved for questions.
