Kaltura is the web-based video management platform that’s integrated with bCourses. It allows for the upload, editing, managing, and sharing of videos and other media. It’s also integrated with both Berkeley’s Course Capture service and with Zoom. Come with any questions you have about Kaltura, regardless of how you’re using it—whether you’re a Course Capture instructor/GSI, using Zoom and relying on Zoom to Kaltura integration, uploading or capturing media on your own, or wanting to include media in your instructional materials.
Planning to drop by? Let us know!

Judy Stern (she/her) is the Kaltura Service Lead and also supports RTL’s Course Capture service. She has a long history of evaluating, designing, launching, managing, and supporting instructional technologies on campus—always with an emphasis on the user experience. Video for instructional use has been a focus of Judy’s for a very long time: in the early 90’s she introduced QuickTime, the first digital video platform for personal computers, to Berkeley instructors (in addition to writing a number of books on the topic and being a frequent conference presenter). |
